Earn College Credit in High School

Students can get a jump-start on their future by taking college courses as early as their sophomore year of high school. Courses are offered online and on-campus with bus transportation provided by most school districts.

Secondary Career Center

Take college classes for FREE with our Secondary Career Center. These programs are specifically designed to prepare high school students for in-demand careers and provide them with the skills needed to succeed in the workforce. Students can select from our Engineering Production and Design, Heavy/Compact Equipment, Industrial Technology, Cybersecurity Fundamentals, emergency Medical Services (EMS), Health Professions, or Pre-Nursing career paths. Classes are during the school day with bus transportation provided by most school districts.

Getting Started

If you are currently in high school and would like to take classes for college credit, follow the steps below.


  1. Complete an application for admission here.
  2. Submit documents to the Admissions Office to complete your admissions file. These may be dropped off at the Admissions Office located in Main Classroom Building (MCB), Suite 232; emailed to admissions@uaccb.edu or mailed to UACCB Enrollment Services Center, PO Box 3350, Batesville, AR, 72503.
    • Current high school transcript. Must be in a sealed envelope or mailed directly from the high school.
    • Placement scores (Accuplacer, or ACT). UACCB offers the Accuplacer exam on our campus. Please visit our Testing Center for more information.
    • Proof of immunization (shot records). Arkansas state law requires that you submit two MMR immunizations (measles, mumps, rubella). These immunizations can be obtained at your local health center.
    • Letter of recommendation from counselor or principal.

Important Info

The Admissions Office is located in the Main Classroom Building (MCB), suite 232. Easiest entry is on the east door of the Main Classroom Building, covered by the awning labeled "Admissions". Free parking is available close to this entrance. Office hours are from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
