Overview
The UACCB Student Success Center is part of the Learning Resource Center located in the Row-Johns Library. The Student Success Center offers students free access to various resources:
- Computer Lab: Access a fully equipped computer lab with multiple workstations ideal for research assignments and other academic projects.
- Wireless Printer: Conveniently print documents from your personal devices using our wireless printing service available within the lab and surrounding areas.
- Atomic Models: Utilize a variety of atomic models for hands-on learning and visual understanding of complex molecular structures, ideal for chemistry and physical science students.
- Calculator Checkout: Borrow scientific/graphing calculators for use during exams, assignments, or study sessions, ensuring you have the tools you need for success.
- Anatomical Models: Explore a variety of anatomical models available for study, enabling students to delve into the human body's structure in detail. These models are especially beneficial for students in anatomy, biology, and related fields.
- Tutors: Get personalized assistance from professional or peer tutors who can help you with your assignments, clarify concepts, and guide you through challenging material in various subjects.
Writing Lab
The UACCB Writing Lab, located within the Learning Resource Center in the Row-Johns Library, offers a comprehensive range of resources to support your writing endeavors. Our facility is equipped with computers, a wireless printer, and an array of writing guides and manuals to aid in the writing process. Additionally, we provide example papers to serve as references and experienced tutors who are available to assist you with your writing assignments.
We are committed to helping you enhance your writing skills. Our team is here to provide the guidance and support you need to achieve your writing goals.
Online Tutoring
UACCB tutoring is available online for free to current students in Blackboard Organizations! There you can find the Student Success Center and Writing Lab. Feel free to ask questions, meet with a tutor, or submit papers for proofreading. Documents need to be submitted as a Microsoft Word document. When submitting on Blackboard, please allow up to a 48-hour turnaround. Also, check out the wide variety of resources, brain break activities, and get involved in the community chatter.
Tutor Schedule
Tutoring is also available for subjects other than those listed. Student tutors are chosen for their expertise in selected fields of study. Students with expertise in a particular study area are encouraged to apply to become tutors.

Important Info
The Student Success Center is a free tutoring program offered to all UACCB students. Appointments or referrals are not necessary to receive tutoring. Tutoring is provided for many of the subjects offered by UACCB. The main service provided by the Student Success Center is tutoring on the individual level. Individual tutoring is provided in courses ranging from developmental to advanced courses, and help is even available for online classes. Both in-person and online tutoring options are provided to meet your needs. In-person tutoring offers the benefit of direct face-to-face interaction with a tutor, while online tutoring provides the convenience of flexible scheduling and virtual communication. Please refer to the available schedules for specific tutor times.
