Requesting the Library to Buy Materials

Your suggestions are extremely important to keep the library collection current and relevant to the curriculum. To request materials, contact the Library Director.

• Please contact us if you would like a library orientation for your students.

• The library staff will work in advance to customize orientations to reflect your subject content.
  

• The library has many useful and efficient databases with full-text periodical articles that are available to students and staff from on campus and home.
  

• Please make advanced arrangements with the library if you wish to bring a class to the library for orientations or class research.

• Reserve materials are kept at the circulation desk for student use. Add materials for your classes by bringing them to the circulation desk.

• Reserve materials are sometimes text books that are available to your students for use in the library. The check-out times are limited, usually two hours.

UACCB Library participates in the InterLibrary Loan and ARKLink network, which allows access to material outside of the Row-Johns Library. Patrons may request books, magazine articles, and other information not available in the UACCB Library (allow about one week to receive requests). The check out time for the borrowed items depends upon the lending library.
