UACCB is authorized to offer the Associate of Applied Science and the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees by the AHECB and NCA.


As a state-supported, two- year institution, UACCB is recognized by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education, the Arkansas Department of Workforce Education, and the Arkansas State Approving Agency for Veteran's Training for financial aid purposes.


The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville’s concurrent enrollment program received reaccreditation in 2019 from the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) Accreditation Commission. UACCB is one of 112 accredited programs in the country across 22 states.


 The UACCB RN program is nationally accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.

The Registered Nursing program is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.


The Practical Nursing program is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.


The Emergency Medical Technician program is approved by the Arkansas Department of Health, Division of Emergency Medical Services.


The Certified Nursing Assistant program is approved by the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Office of Long-Term Care.


The Adult Education program is approved by the Arkansas Department of Workforce Education.


The Cosmetology program is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Health, Cosmetology section.

Professional Licensure Disclosure


Federal regulations require the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville to disclose whether its degree programs meet U.S. jurisdictions’ educational requirements for licensure (34 CFR 668.43(a)(6) & 34 CFR 668.72(n)).


The academic programs listed below are designed to prepare students for a career in a licensed profession upon completion of the program. A professional license is typically required for graduates of these programs to practice and/or gain employment in these fields.


Each state and territory have different professional licensure and certification requirements. Other licensure requirements may include professional examinations, background checks, years of work experience, fingerprinting requirements, etc.


Prospective and current students should also keep in mind that licensing and authorization requirements vary by state and that relocating during the course of a program to another state could impact whether they can continue in the course, meet the eligibility requirements of that state, and/or receive financial aid funding. Students considering relocation during their academic program are encouraged to communicate with the program contact listed below to check for authorization and licensure eligibility requirements.

Campus community,


Cases of COVID-19 continue to increase in Arkansas and in our region.  Earlier today, the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees passed a resolution for campuses to implement mask wearing policies.  The UACCB Administrative Cabinet has reenacted Campus Procedure 220.20, Face Coverings and Social Distancing for Student, Employees, Guests, and Visitors.  


Effective immediately, UACCB will require all students, employees, guests, and visitors to wear masks indoors.  


This revision of Campus Procedure 220.20 is tied to CDC data regarding the level of community transmission for our area.  We will utilize a “stop light” indicator system, depending on the level of community transmission:


RED: The level of community transmission is high or substantial, masks are required.
YELLOW: The level of community transmission is moderate, masks are recommended.
GREEN: The level of community transmission is low, normal campus normal operations are in effect.


Our area is currently in RED: the level of community transmission is high, and masks are required.


The UACCB Administrative Cabinet will monitor the CDC rating and will evaluate the scale weekly.  This is a small step we can take to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and ensure we can maintain in-person learning.
