Logging On A Computer

Hold down the CTRL, ALT, and DELETE buttons at the same time for the password box to appear

User Name: This is the Computer Logon ID located on your student ID card. It consists of the first initial of your first name, your entire last name and 4 digits. EX: John Doe—jdoe1234

Password: The password for all students the first time they log on will be their 6-digit birthday. EX: January 01, 2001 would be 010101

Currently, all the lab computers are installed with current Microsoft Office software, and have access to the Internet. Each student will receive an email account which they can use via the UACCB website located at www.uaccb.edu, on the home page, left hand side on the red banner. Your email address will be your Computer Logon ID plus @uaccb.edu. For Example: jdoe1234@uaccb.edu.

Using the Internet

Google Chrome is the preferred browser for UACCB .  If you are taking online courses, Blackboard recommends using Google Chrome to reduce compatibility issues.

WebAdvisor
WebAdvisor is a web interface that allows you to access information to UACCB’s administrative database. Its function is to provide current students direct web access to portions of their academic and financial records, as well as the ability to register through the web. Information available to students includes their personal course schedule, transcripts, financial aid award information, and their academic program evaluation information.

To logon to WebAdvisor, open Google Chrome. In the links bar, you should see a link labeled “WebAdvisor Main Menu”. Left click on this link and it will open up the Web Advisor web page. If you are a new user, click on the link labeled “Account Information”. Then click on “What’s my User ID”. This screen will let you know what your username is to log on to Web Advisor. A first time user’s temporary password will be your six digit birthday. Once you type this in, you will have to create a new permanent password with the following regulations: 6– 9 characters in length containing both letters and numbers and no use of users name.

myUACCB
myUACCB is a web interface that allows you to access all of your student information from one website. Its function is to provide current students direct web access to portions of their academic and financial records, let students see what’s happening on campus, register for classes, check your email, plus much more.

To logon to myUACCB, open Google Chrome. In the address bar, Type https://my.uaccb.edu (if you are not taken there automatically).  If you are a new student your account has been created with a temporary password.  A first time user’s temporary password will be your six digit birthday. Once you type this in, you will have to create a new permanent password with the following regulations: 8–15 characters in length containing (1) uppercase letter, (1) lowercase letter, (1) number or special character, and no use of your first or last name.

Saving Your Work

Saving your documents in your Office 365 OneDrive for Business account is the best method to ensure you do not lose your work.  You can save work directly to your OneDrive and have access to it from anywhere in the world.  OneDrive for Business is one of the many apps available to you after you sign in to your email.

Logging Off Your Computer

Close all programs you have open. Click the round “Start” icon in the bottom left of the screen. Click the small arrow button to show a menu where you can select “Log Off”. Make certain that you have been logged off before leaving the computer.

Alert Message

Campus community,

Cases of COVID-19 continue to increase in Arkansas and in our region.  Earlier today, the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees passed a resolution for campuses to implement mask wearing policies.  The UACCB Administrative Cabinet has reenacted Campus Procedure 220.20, Face Coverings and Social Distancing for Student, Employees, Guests, and Visitors.

Effective immediately, UACCB will require all students, employees, guests, and visitors to wear masks indoors.

This revision of Campus Procedure 220.20 is tied to CDC data regarding the level of community transmission for our area.  We will utilize a “stop light” indicator system, depending on the level of community transmission:

RED: The level of community transmission is high or substantial, masks are required.
YELLOW: The level of community transmission is moderate, masks are recommended.
GREEN: The level of community transmission is low, normal campus normal operations are in effect.

Our area is currently in RED: the level of community transmission is high, and masks are required.

The UACCB Administrative Cabinet will monitor the CDC rating and will evaluate the scale weekly.  This is a small step we can take to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and ensure we can maintain in-person learning.

Thank you.

Zach Perrine

Interim Chancellor
