The FARM at UACCB

FARM Open House

If you or someone you know has been interested in starting the Farm and Ranch Management (FARM) program this fall, now is the chance to get signed up!

We have a Gateway Center and FARM program Open House this Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Encourage those that may have an interest in the FARM program to attend – we have scholarships available where they can attend at no cost.

Hands-On Farming

Get out of the classroom and into the field—learn by doing with tractors, livestock, and crops from seed to harvest.

Spend 80% of your time learning by doing when enrolled in our Associate of Applied Science in Farm and Ranch Management program:

  • Operate tractors, hook up implements & run the planter
  • Mix feed & handle livestock chores
  • Weld, fix, and maintain your own equipment
  • Learn how to grow crops from seed to harvest

Precision Ag in Action

Combine technology and agriculture as you use drones, GPS, and data tools to make smarter, more efficient farming decisions.

Experience the cutting edge of modern agriculture:
  • Fly drones to check crop health & map fields
  • Use GPS auto steer and field mapping systems
  • Pull soil samples & analyze nutrients for better yields
  • Experiment with sensors and apps to make data-driven decisions
  • See how technology cuts costs and saves time on real farms
