About Community Education

Community Education classes, programs, seminars, workshops, and camps offer a variety of opportunities for cultural, educational, and life-enriching activities for all ages. Offered in a relaxed non-credit atmosphere at an affordable price, all activities are designed to be informative and enjoyable. Instructors are chosen for their special expertise in subjects that others may want to learn.


Classes vary and can be on a variety of topics including gardening, first aid/CPR, different languages, dancing, and more.  Courses are offered throughout the week at various times and locations and vary in length. Please check the Community Education Class Schedule for specific class offerings.

New Courses 
Courses are organized on demand.  Anyone interested in classes not listed in the class schedule may contact the Community Education Coordinator. 

Instructors 
Community Education instructors are selected for their skills and expertise in a variety of areas. They do not need a degree in what they teach.  Anyone interested in teaching please fill out this course proposal form. After the proposal has been received and reviewed, the prospective instructor will be contacted for a teaching demonstration.
