The Arkansas Career Pathways Initiative (CPI) provides funding that enables UACCB to offer assistance such as career counseling, job search training, academic advising and tutoring to eligible individuals so that they may earn an educational credential and immediately go to work in a high demand occupation. In addition, the Pathways program may be able to help eligible persons overcome financial barriers to obtaining needed training and education.
To participate in the UACCB CPI program, an individual must be a parent or legal guardian of a child living in the home under the age of 21, AND ONE (1) OF THE FOLLOWING:
- receive SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid, or AR Kids
- receive Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA)*
- have an annual family income below 250% of federal poverty level (approximately $49,475 annually for a family of three)
*Persons currently receiving TEA assistance will receive expedited enrollment if all eligibility requirements are met.
Those who think they may qualify, or for more information, please contact CPI at (870) 612-2060 to schedule an appointment. The Career Pathways Initiative is located in the UACCB Main Classroom Building (MCB) Room 236.
