CURRENT AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Online RN Instructor: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a full-time instructor for the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing approved Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing program.  The position requires coordination and providing online instruction, on-site clinical instruction, student support and advisement, professional development activities, campus and departmental committee membership, and adherence to on-campus office hour requirements.  Some in-state travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:  A master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution; two years medical-surgical nursing experience; unencumbered Arkansas registered nurse license; strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a faculty team; and, proficient in Microsoft Office, use of the Internet, course management systems, and computerized assessments.
Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have experience teaching in a registered nurse program and experience teaching online nursing courses.

Nursing and Allied Health Division Chair: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a Division Chair for its Nursing and Allied Health programs who is committed to supporting student success.  Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Academics, the Division Chair will provide strategic direction and leadership for the planning, administration, and management of all aspects of the Nursing and Allied Health programs.  Primary responsibilities will include oversight of the daily operations of the division; hiring, training, and scheduling all division personnel; preparing and maintaining the NAH budgets; planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction; preparing and submitting required reports; serving on college-wide committees; and, performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:  A master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution and an unencumbered registered nurse license to practice in Arkansas (endorsement from out of state licensed registered nurses must be completed prior to beginning employment) are required.   A doctorate degree in nursing and at least three years of higher education experience in a nursing or allied health program are preferred.
