CURRENT AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Library Director: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a full-time Library Director who is committed to supporting student success.  Primary responsibilities will include oversight of the daily operation of the library; hiring, training, scheduling and supervising all library personnel; preparing and maintaining the library budget; supervising the annual inventory of the library and acquisition of books and audiovisuals; maintaining employee records; preparing and submitting required reports; promoting the use of the library as a location conducive for study, research, and reading; and, performing other duties as assigned.   
Qualifications:  A master's degree in library or information science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution is required.  At least three years of higher education library experience in progressively more responsible positions preferred.
