Communications and Marketing Coordinator: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a Communications and Marketing Coordinator.  The Communications and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for all areas of advertising and marketing strategies and techniques in various media formats including television, radio, print, internet, social media, digital, inside and outside sales, etc. of print and web-based marketing materials.  This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Typical functions: Develop and oversee all printed materials for the College. This includes invitations, brochures, catalog, schedules, and miscellaneous publications as requested. Create brochures and College publications including copy, writing, photography, layout and design, typesetting and printing.  Interprets policies, procedures, rules and regulations for content placed on the UACCB website and for working with Information Services to continue updating and changing the UACCB web pages.  Attends campus and off-campus functions to observe activities and provide both written and photographic documentation for the campus.  Develop working relationships with multiple media services to ensure exposure of UACCB.  Promote available services to area schools, agencies, organizations, businesses, and the general public by preparing materials to publicize programs. Update and prepare the UACCB catalog for internet posting.  Assist with many other projects across campus including commencement, official functions, and various meetings and events.
Knowlededges, abilities and skills: Knowledge of the principles, practices and theory of advertising, promotions, and marketing. Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, regulations and requirements.  Knowledge of advertising and marketing strategies and techniques in various media formats, including television, radio, print, internet, social media, digital, inside and outside sales, etc.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with promotions partners and advertising vendors. Ability to explain laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures to promotions partners and advertising vendors. Ability to create, prioritize, manage and execute the strategic marketing plan. Ability to lead marketing functions including creative, production and media placement. Ability to set priorities, effectively manage multiple projects, and make sound judgments regarding sensitive and highly visible matters. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and other computer applications. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Skill in gathering, compiling, analyzing and presenting data.
Miniumum Qualifications:  The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field; plus two years of related work experience in advertising or marketing.  Some travel will be mandatory; therefore, applicants must be able to qualify to drive on state business.  A criminal background check will be performed before an employment offer is made.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience at an institution of higher education.  More than two years of progressively more responsible work experience in advertising or marketing. Salary:  $36,000 to 40,000 annually plus an excellent fringe benefits package that includes health care and retirement.

Admissions Counselor:  The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks an Admissions Counselor.  The new Admissions counselor will be an important part of an exciting Admissions team that provides strategic direction and leadership for the planning, administration, and management of all aspects of UACCB’s campus-wide student recruitment and admissions programs.
Common Duties:  Conducts regular visits to targeted high schools recruiting prospective students, represents UACCB at college and career days and fairs, presents programs targeted at the recruitment of returning adult students, processes documents for prospective students, assists with the training and supervision of student ambassadors, maintains regular contact with high school counselors, provides admissions and career counseling to prospective students, assists with the coordination of  UACCB preview days, conducts campus tours, and performs any aspect of the recruitment and admission of new and returning students.  This position also requires attendance at various evening recruitment-related activities and events.  Some limited overnight travel is required for recruitment and training events and programs.  
Required Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively in writing and in public presentation settings, self-starter, highly motivated to recruit both traditional and non-traditional-aged students, and knowledge of and/or experience working with a comprehensive, multifaceted information system. Some travel will be mandatory; therefore, applicants must be able to qualify to drive on state business.  A criminal background check will be performed before an employment offer is made. Preferred Qualifications: a minimum of one year of experience in a college admissions role. Salary:  $30,000 annually plus an excellent fringe benefits package that includes health care and retirement.

Online RN Instructor: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a full-time instructor for the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing approved Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing program.  The position requires coordination and providing online instruction, on-site clinical instruction, student support and advisement, professional development activities, campus and departmental committee membership, and adherence to on-campus office hour requirements.  Some in-state travel may be required. 
Minimum QualificationsA master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution; unencumbered Arkansas registered nurse license; strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a faculty team; and, proficient in Microsoft Office, use of the Internet, course management systems, and computerized assessments. Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have experience teaching in a registered nurse program, experience teaching online nursing courses, two years medical surgical nursing experience, and experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
