Admissions Counselor: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks an Admissions Counselor. The new Admissions counselor will be an important part of an exciting Admissions team that provides strategic direction and leadership for the planning, administration, and management of all aspects of UACCB’s campus-wide student recruitment and admissions programs.
Common Duties: Conducts regular visits to targeted high schools recruiting prospective students,
represents UACCB at college and career days and fairs, presents programs targeted at the recruitment of
returning adult students, processing documentation for prospective students, assists with the training and supervision of college ambassadors, maintains regular contact with high school counselors, provides admissions and career counseling to prospective students, assists with the coordination of UACCB preview days, conducts campus tours, and any aspect of the recruitment and admission of new and returning students. This position also requires attendance at various evening recruiting related activities and events.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively in writing and in public presentation settings, self-starter, highly motivated to recruit both traditional and non-traditional-aged students, and knowledge of and/or experience working with a comprehensive, multifaceted information system.
Preferred Qualifications: one to two years experience in a direct college admissions role
Salary: $30,000 annually

Practical Nursing (PN) Program Full-time Faculty: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a full-time instructor for the Practical Nursing Program.
Responsibilities include, in class-lectures; clinical supervision and evaluation; skills demonstration and training; planning and scheduling of content; and, involvement in student-related activities, department and campus committees; and, student advising. Some in-state travel may be required. This is an eleven-month faculty position that requires the candidate have an associate’s degree in nursing with an unencumbered Arkansas registered nurse license; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a faculty team. Two years clinical experience required. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Medical-surgical experience is preferred. Candidates must be willing to submit to a background check.
