Institutional Services Assistant - The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks an Institutional Services Assistant.  Incumbent is responsible for general cleaning of areas in and around office buildings, class rooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, resident halls, dining areas, building common areas, and other areas as required. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.  Working hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.  The annual salary for the position is $17,188.
Typical Functions: Removes trash from waste baskets, dumps trash, sanitizes and re-lines trash receptacles daily, or as needed, and operates trash compactors. Wipes furniture, such as desk tops, tables, and other surfaces. Cleans walls, windows, window sills, stairways, and entry ways, as needed. Sweeps, mops, and buffs floors, vacuums floors daily, and shampoos carpets, cleans baseboards, dusts and/or wipes clean furniture, desk tops, table tops, cabinets, and other surfaces, such as ceiling fans, black/white boards, appliances, and fixtures. Strips, waxes, and buffs floors, as needed or scheduled. Cleans bathroom fixtures and stocks restrooms with soap, toilet tissue, and paper towels. Cleans areas requiring special cleaning methods, by using specific cleansers, sterilizing equipment, and/or disposing of contaminated wastes. Assists in set-up of events and cleaning after events. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques. Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive manual work. Ability to use cleansers and other agents to clean floors and furniture. Ability to use housekeeping cleaning supplies and equipment. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions. Ability to perform multiple tasks and to prioritize assignments. Ability to perform repetitive manual work. Ability to do required lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
Minimum Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS.

Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services - The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, a public comprehensive community college in north central Arkansas, seeks a Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services.
Minimum Qualifications: A master's degree preferably in college student personnel or related field and a minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, preferably at a two-year institution.  The vice chancellor serves as one of four senior administrators reporting directly to the chancellor.  The vice chancellor has primary responsibility for leadership of a comprehensive enrollment management and student services program that includes enrollment management, marketing, financial aid, counseling and testing, campus life and student organizations, TRiO/SSS, Career Pathways Initiative, career coach program and is responsible for campus student discipline. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and operational management to develop and implement a comprehensive enrollment management program that focuses on sustained, positive results in recruiting, enrolling, retaining and graduating an academically prepared student body.
Salary: Base salary will start at $85,000 (qualifications and experience will be given additional consideration). The college has an excellent fringe benefit program that includes health, life and dental insurance, a retirement program and educational opportunities.

Director of Institutional Research -  the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a Director of Institutional Research. The Director of IR conducts statistical and analytical studies that support the academic and administrative functions of the College. The Director compiles and interprets information for enrollment analysis, assessment, planning and budgeting; prepares internal and external reports; assists in providing campus users and the public with timely access to data and information; and serves as liaison to a variety of campus groups.  The Director reports to the Vice Chancellor of Research, Planning and Assessment.  Specific duties include: submits data to comply with ADHE/legislative requests; coordinates the collection and submission of IPEDS data; compiles data to support grant applications; provides data to support reports to accrediting agencies; assists with collection and reporting of assessment data; responsible for compiling data for Factbook and Division data pages; completes on-going and ad hoc data requests; coordinates the administration of CCSSE and other similar surveys; presents data to campus groups, including weekly Data Bits and Bytes; reviews practices and measures of institutional effectiveness and goals.
Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited college or university in a field related to research or data analysis (such as, but not limited to, statistics, economics, social sciences, or information sciences), with at least six (6) credit hours in statistics or research methods; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting statistical data in a professional setting. Knowledge of institutional research or higher education reporting requirements preferred.
Experience with data management, including verification of data integrity, data auditing, data extraction, and data cleaning; ability to generate and direct the generation of complex data sets.
Experience working with relational databases (Colleague preferred) and a high level efficiency with SQL and reporting writing software (experience with Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder housed on SQL Server Reporting Services preferred).  Knowledge of applied research methods (quantitative and qualitative); proficiency with statistical analysis and experience with statistical data software such as SPSS; proficiency with survey tools, such as Survey Monkey.  Strong problem solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, especially in regard to presenting data and statistical results to a variety of audiences.  Ability to work independently, attend to multiple projects simultaneously, deliver accurate results and meet deadlines; ability to work in a collaborative environment and interact effectively with different college constituencies preferred.  Salary commensurate with education and experience, with range in mid to high 40s.
