Practical Nursing (PN) Program Full-time Faculty: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a full-time instructor for the Practical Nursing Program.
Responsibilities include, in class-lectures; clinical supervision and evaluation; skills demonstration and training; planning and scheduling of content; and, involvement in student-related activities, department and campus committees; and, student advising. Some in-state travel may be required. This is an eleven-month faculty position that requires the candidate have an associate’s degree in nursing with an unencumbered Arkansas registered nurse license; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a faculty team. Two years clinical experience required. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Medical-surgical experience is preferred. Candidates must be willing to submit to a background check.

Director of Admissions: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a Director of Enrollment Management. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services (VCEMSS), the Director of Enrollment Management functions as the Director of Admissions and will provide strategic direction and leadership for the planning, administration, and management of all aspects of UACCB’s student recruitment and admissions programs. The Director works closely with the VCEMSS and other administrators in the management, development, and implementation of College-wide enrollment objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities may include: Development, implementation, and assessment of an effective enrollment management plan, including enrollment objectives and strategies to achieve those objectives by serving on the Enrollment Management Committee and other groups responsible for enrollment planning and development of enrollment strategies and providing support and guidance to the College community in the enrollment management effort; contributes to the successful accomplishment of the College’s objectives for student enrollment by coordinating the functions of the Enrollment Center and working with the academic division chairs and directors of other campus units to develop and implement an effective student recruitment plan and retention strategies; ensures delivery of quality, student-oriented enrollment services; remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or conferences as directed by the VCEMSS; manages the annual budget; directs efforts of the area of the Enrollment Center which include the selection, supervision, training, and evaluation of personnel, student workers, and College Ambassadors; leads the planning and implementation of recruitment and enrollment strategies that support the College’s strategic plan; determines the eligibility and acceptance of applicants to UACCB; ensures all necessary documentation is collected for students; compiles, analyses, and reports with the cooperation of the Director of Institutional Research and Registrar data relevant to enrollment and retention; and supervises the Enrollment Center staff.
Minimum Requirements: Advanced degree from an accredited college or university; significant experience in college admissions (4 or more years) may be substituted for the advanced degree requirement; minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions work; supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership ability and management skill; and knowledge of and experience working with a comprehensive, multifaceted information system. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Colleague student information system.
