Testing Assistant

Testing Assistant: The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a part-time testing assistant. This person will work in the UACCB Testing Center approximately 18 hours per week, including some evenings. The qualified candidate will administer and score various exams.  The position will use databases to track and schedule testing.  The testing assistant must be able to maintain confidentiality and security in testing protocol and assessment results, including adhering to FERPA rules, return testing materials to faculty, agencies, or other colleges, and maintain a quiet environment.  The qualified candidate will communicate efficiently and effectively with other staff, faculty, and agencies. This person will report to the Director of Student Development and will work in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience proctoring standardized and/or computerized testing
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Higher education experience
