Registrar/Director of Student Information

The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a Registrar/Director of Student Information. The registrar maintains student records within the student information system and ensures records are kept in a manner consistent with federal regulations. The registrar is the liaison with academics on curriculum creation and degree audit, maintaining accuracy and advising to ensure consistency between both departments and providing support to faculty on student curriculum and attendance issues. The registrar helps coordinate registration activities such as pre-registration; online registration; mid-term and final grade collection; coordinates transfer acceptance; coordinate graduation of students; and completes end-of-term processing such as updating final grades and documenting student standing. The registrar coordinates reporting to federal and state agencies and Clearinghouse.

The registrar manages and supervises the process and staff of the Office of Student Records.  The registrar reports to the vice chancellor of research, planning and assessment.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of two years of experience in a professional setting with higher education experience preferred.

Advanced computing skills, especially with Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets, queries, and statistical software; experience with relational database such as Colleague preferred.

Strong problem solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills.

Ability to work independently, attend to multiple projects simultaneously, deliver accurate results and meet deadlines; ability to work in a collaborative environment and interact effectively with different college constituencies preferred.

Salary commensurate with education and experience, with range in mid to high 40s.
