Opportunities to Give

The UACCB Foundation identifies and provides additional resources to support the mission of the college beyond the scope of state funding is key to program development, campus services, and student success. There are many ways to make a gift to benefit the UACCB Foundation through established endowments and initiatives as well as new philanthropic projects.

The UACCB Foundation currently has more than 35 endowed scholarships and awards. There are other ways to directly support students including an emergency fund which provides gas cards, books, supplies, and other emergent needs for students. One of the newest funds is the student food pantry, which fills immediate needs on campus for students with food insecurities.

Gifts to individual departments are just as important as gifts to endowed accounts. Departmental accounts cover expenses in addition the regular budget or expenses not allowed by the state.

Capital projects are another important area for the UACCB Foundation to play a role in supporting college development. Currently, the UACCB Foundation is building a Workforce Training Center and is seeking gifts toward equipment, room sponsorship, and naming opportunities.

Donors may also choose to make an unrestricted gift which can be used in an area of need to be determined by the UACCB Foundation. There is an Advancement Operations Endowment fund which ensures the Advancement Office can operate perpetually.

If you have a particular passion of interest, please contact the Advancement office and we will ensure your gift is directed to the area of your choice. We can also assist you in establishing a new scholarship or with estate planning for future gifts or bequeaths.

Honorariums or Memorials

A gift may be made in honor of an instructor, student or other individual of your choice to acknowledge a birthday or other occasion. A gift can also be made in memory of a friend or loved one toward a foundation fund of your choice. An acknowledgement of your gift will be sent to the appropriate individual eased loved one, friend or individual. The Foundation sends a notice of your gift to the appropriate individuals.

Every contribution and gift made to the UACCB Foundation is used to further the mission of UACCB and supports its students and higher education in the community.

Alert Message

Campus community,

Cases of COVID-19 continue to increase in Arkansas and in our region.  Earlier today, the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees passed a resolution for campuses to implement mask wearing policies.  The UACCB Administrative Cabinet has reenacted Campus Procedure 220.20, Face Coverings and Social Distancing for Student, Employees, Guests, and Visitors.

Effective immediately, UACCB will require all students, employees, guests, and visitors to wear masks indoors.

This revision of Campus Procedure 220.20 is tied to CDC data regarding the level of community transmission for our area.  We will utilize a “stop light” indicator system, depending on the level of community transmission:

RED: The level of community transmission is high or substantial, masks are required.
YELLOW: The level of community transmission is moderate, masks are recommended.
GREEN: The level of community transmission is low, normal campus normal operations are in effect.

Our area is currently in RED: the level of community transmission is high, and masks are required.

The UACCB Administrative Cabinet will monitor the CDC rating and will evaluate the scale weekly.  This is a small step we can take to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and ensure we can maintain in-person learning.

Thank you.

Zach Perrine
