English Language Learner Reference Center

This multi-purpose EBSCOHost information resource is designed for middle and high school students and anyone that is new to the English language. This database will help ELLs succeed academically and in everyday life by providing assistance as they conduct research, build their background knowledge and develop study skills. ELL Reference Center content covers a wide range of subject areas–including Science, Math, History, Civics, Life Skills and Literature–and is written in an age-appropriate interest level, using vocabulary and simplified structure helpful to non-native speakers. ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) is sponsored by the US Dept. of Education and provides comprehensive access to education-related literature.
