Materials from the Roy Row, Sr. & Imogene Row Johns Library may be circulated to the following:
- students from UACCB
- Instructors and staff from UACCB
- Students from area schools who are twelve (12) years or older (younger children must be accompanied by adults).
- Citizens who are twelve (12) years or older who live in the area.
The library patron will supply his name, address, telephone number, and email information on issuance of library privileges (barcode must be attached to student ID or resident card); a resident must have a photo ID, such as a driver's license, before a card will be issued.
Three library items may be loaned during one given time.
Books are loaned for two weeks (check out period may be extended if no other requests are made for the book).
Videos may be checked out for three days.
ARKLinks cards are available on request for those faculty, staff, and students who are in good standing in the Library.
"Reserve" materials must be checked out from the circulation desk for a limited time and must be used in the library unless the item is designated for "overnight" check out; the "reserve" section will be on shelves close to the circulation desk.
The Row Johns Library currently has subscriptions to over 100 periodicals. Current magazines are placed on magazine stands in the reference area; back issues are arranged alphabetically by title on the shelves in the stacks area. Generally periodicals may not be taken from the library. However, faculty and staff may obtain special permission from the librarian to borrow a periodical for a limited time period.
The UACCB Library participates in the Arkansas Libraries Online Network which allows access to material statewide. Patrons may request books, magazine articles and other information not available in the UACCB Library (allow one week to receive requests). The check out time for the borrowed ILL books is the same as the regular UACCB book check out, which is two weeks.
The UACCB Library provides access to photocopiers at a charge of .05 per copy. For access you must check out a copy meter at the circulation desk and return after the copies are finished. The meter will then be read at the desk by library staff and payment is due immediately. A student ID is required for meter check out.
