Industrial Electronics
Graduates in the field of industrial electronics work in industry to test, install, and repair electrical and electronic equipment systems. Electronic technicians build, test and troubleshoot systems and analyze and determine the quality and/or performance of electronic circuits.
A student who will succeed in industrial electronics enjoys mechanics, figuring out problems and making things work. An industrial electronics student also likes to spend time with computers and electrical devices. In North Central Arkansas, graduates with a two year AAS degree can expect to be paid a starting salary of $15-$20 per hour.
