Director of the Student Success Center
The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville is seeking a Director of the Student Success Center. The director will be responsible for providing and coordinating group and individual tutoring in math, sciences, writing and other subject areas; planning and conducting workshops on time management, study skills and test-taking; hiring, overseeing and training peer tutors; completing payroll documents; and maintaining computerized support materials. The director will oversee the tutoring budget by monitoring expenditures and making projections of budgetary needs. The director will gather data, create reports and assist with special projects as needed. The successful candidate will work closely with students, faculty and staff in promoting student success.
A bachelor’s degree and two years of teaching and/or tutoring experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a master’s degree and academic credentials in math and/or science.
