Mrs. Crandall has been teaching Life Sciences since 1986. She began teaching at UACCB in 1997, where she teaches Biology, Microbiology, and Anatomy & Physiology courses. Mrs. Crandall received her A.A. in Biology from Palm Beach Community College, a B.S. in Biology from the University of West Florida, an M.S. in Zoology from the University of Connecticut, and then Medical Technologist national certification (MT, ASCP). She entered higher education after working as a Clinical Microbiologist in Florida. More recently she completed the AAS in Computer Networking at UACCB and attained the Specialist in Community College Teaching at ASU. She is currently continuing  at ASU, working toward completing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She states, “All of the opportunities I have had are because of my decision to attend a community college. I am committed to providing opportunity for those who choose to improve their lives through education.”
