Broadwater named UACCB's outstanding faculty member
Dennis Broadwater, tutoring coordinator at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, was named UACCB's Outstanding Faculty member. Broadwater was recognized at a dinner during the Arkansas Association of Two Year College's Fall Conference held recently in Hot Springs.
Broadwater has been with the college since September 2004. He said his goal and purpose is, "to break down barriers that prevent a student from reaching his or her educational potential." Co-workers describe him as student-centered, flexible, collaborative, capable and respected.
